AbstractIn an emotional ceremony Saturday, German officials returned two pieces of looted art to a czarist palace outside St. Petersburg, more than a half-century after they were seized by the Nazis. In exchange for the intricately inlaid chest and steaming mosaic from Peter the Great's famed Amber Room, Russia has agreed to turn over 101 artworks looted from Germany by Soviet troops after World War II.
