AbstractTreasures from the famed "Amber Room" of a Czarist palace in Russia - stolen by the Nazis in World War II - have been found in a Soviet military base in eastern Germany, a newspaper reported Tuesday. The room was one of the great master-pieces of prerevolutionary Russian artisanry, along with Faberge eggs and the Czar's jewels. It consists of large wall panels and other furnishings made from the rare, honeycolored resin.
